Sorry, we do not have a wait list and therefore cannot take your name over the phone or in person.
It is the old fashioned way, first come first serve.
When it’s busy, it’s difficult to say exactly how long the wait will be, as there are many variables to account for.
However, what we do know is: weekends & holidays tend to be busier.
Parties of 1-2 people tend to be seated quicker.
Parties of 3 or more may take a little longer.
We have a covered waiting area. When it starts to rain our host redirects everyone under cover.
Yes! Our staff are happy to accommodate your needs!
We have a designated accessibility waiting area. Please check in with the host when you arrive and we will take care of the rest.
Yes! We are open all statutory/bank holidays with the exception of Wednesdays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.
There is lots of metered street parking close by. Meters are in effect 8am-8pm in the city of Victoria 7 days a week, excluding statutory holidays. Meters accept coins and credit cards and require your space number to operate.
There is a Robins Parking lot on Meares Street, close to Cook Street that is pay parking. You can pay with debit or credit card at this meter. Parking fees are in effect 24/7 at most Robins Parking lots.
There is some 1 hour & 2 hour free parking a few streets back behind the Christ Church Cathedral.
We do not have a patio at this time.
Any patio photos that you may see on our google business photos were taken during the pandemic when the city allowed pop up patios and have since been revoked/removed.
Yes! We have gift certificates available in any denomination!
We do not allow animals in the restaurant in compliance with health regulations.
However, certified service animals are always welcome.
Yes! All items can be modified to be gluten-free, or are naturally gluten-free with the exception of our “pure pork savoury sausage” and our griddle cakes.
French toast can be made on gluten-free bread and we have a designated gluten-free toaster.
Additional charges may be applied.
Yes! Any item containing cheese or sour cream can be modified to omit the dairy.
We have oat milk as a plant-based/dairy-free milk option. This can be substituted on oatmeals, in coffees or in our French toast batter.
Some of the compotes, syrups & sauces contain butter. Please inform your server of any dietary restrictions you have. Additional charges may apply for substitutions.

• Allergy Alert: not all ingredients are listed on our menu! If you have an allergy or an aversion to a particular item please let us know at the time of your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• Outside Beverages are not permitted.
• Your entire party must be present in order for you to be seated.
• During peak periods, we may apply a $5 minimum charge per person for parties of five or more, children are exempt. There are many smaller side orders and beverages that meet the $5 minimum—feel free to ask your server if you have any questions!
• An auto-gratuity will be added to parties of five or more.

Bridgette is a contemporary artist that resides in Victoria BC. She is inspired by nature and beauty, and there is an abundance of energy, colour and bold movement in each piece that she creates. Here, you will find a current offering of acrylic paintings in various sizes.
Ruth Van Egmond
Ruth Van Egmond discovered her passion for painting early in life. Primarily a self-taught artist. Ruth’s love of art and nature continuously developed throughout her farming careeer in the idyllic hills of Northumberland county, and has revitalized after moving to Victoria, BC in 2008. Her paintings can be viewed here:
